Connecting your camera to a PC is a surefire way to get your photos transferred into your computer, and it’s very easy to do. This is a great way to clear up memory space on your camera, and store your photos in a safe and reliable device. It makes it easy to take pictures and then access them on your computer for editing, sharing, or simple enjoyment. Generally, all you will need is your camera's USB cable, which likely came with purchase.

    Power on your PC. Switch your PC on by pressing the "Power" button.

    Power on your camera. Your camera needs to be on to make a successful connection. Do this by pressing your camera’s Power button until the digital screen lights up.

    Plug in your camera to your PC. Grab your camera’s USB cable, which should come with the camera when you purchased it. Plug in the little end into the camera’s port.
